By accessing or using PlaySprig ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

PlaySprig is a browser-based, AI-powered game creation platform designed for kids ages 8 and up. Users describe game ideas in plain English, and AI generates real JavaScript code using the Phaser game engine. Users can then edit, remix, and share their projects.

To use most features of PlaySprig, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

Users under 13 require verifiable parental consent before their account is fully activated, in accordance with our Children's Privacy Policy.

You agree not to:

• Abuse AI features — including submitting prompts designed to produce harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content, or attempting to circumvent content safety filters.
• Scrape or harvest data — use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract content, user data, or any other information from the Service.
• Bypass the sandbox — attempt to escape or circumvent the code execution sandbox, access underlying infrastructure, or interfere with the security of the platform.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers and networks.

• AI-generated code and content are provided as a starting point. We make no guarantee regarding the quality, correctness, completeness, or fitness of AI-generated output for any particular purpose.
• You are free to edit, modify, and share AI-generated content within your projects.
• You are responsible for reviewing and testing any AI-generated code before sharing or distributing it.

PlaySprig offers free and paid tiers. Details of current plans and pricing are available on our pricing page.

• We reserve the right to change pricing, features, or generation limits at any time with reasonable notice to affected users.
• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at hello@playsprig.com for refund requests.

• We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if continued access would pose a risk to the Service or other users.
• You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@playsprig.com. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and disclaimers) will survive.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PlaySprig and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as an in-app notification or email). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
